Tony Todd returns as the hook handed "Candyman" of legend and this time is terrorizing his great great granddaughter (Donna De'Errico, who's in horrible need of a bra) who unwisely called on him.
While the pre-credits sequence is okay it soon starts to flounder. Maybe it's because D'Errico (of Baywatch fame, yay!) seems unsuitable in the lead and can't act worth a damn. Maybe it's the fact this is more exploitation than the previous two parts. Or perhaps it's that the team of Meyer and Septien have learned squat about making a decent horror movie since Sleepstalker.
Predictable, laughable and downright stupid; this trots out plenty of gore (which are shown in flashback numerous times) without any of the brains of the previous parts. Todd still rocks, but he's not nearly enough.
No more chanting in mirrors, please!
