The story is transplanted to New Orleans during the Mardi Gras and teacher Kelly Rowan sets out to find the killer when her brother is accused of murder. Well it turns out the killer is our legendary hook-handed Candyman and the secrets go much deeper than that.

Stylishly made sequel isn't as strong as the original but plays extremely well and is steadily made making it one of the better horror sequels in recent memory despite a kind of weak finale.
