Juvenile jokes about the title aside this semi-cult classic low-budgeter (which didn't see video release for over fifteen years) has people in the small town of "Silver City" reopening a mine that caved-in in the early 1900's and unleashing a bunch of nasty, tentacle-flinging monsters. Mostly two couples staying in a nearby house are terrorized along with their yappy (yet full of character) dog.
Competently made with director Conway actually managing to build okay suspense at times; this is a little draggy, but for the most part is a watchable and somewhat fun dated 80's horror flick.
The monsters are wisely kept off-camera for most of the movie (and do some neato gore) and the music is quite suitable.
Good for fans and it even brims with plenty of low-brow (but not annoying) humour.
