Well done sequel has a family moving back into a house where the wife's ex-husband was killed. Not only does the small son start acting strangely but mom starts having whacked-out visions as well. Could it be her dead husband's spirit causing all the havoc? You betcha.

Surprisingly effective Itallian import from veteran director Bava has some disturbing and somewhat shocking moments (which are helped by the distorted camera lens) and a good 70's-techno musical score. Bava keeps it interesting and this is recommended fare. (Chris Hartley)
