1988 - 83m.

For years (after reading about it in "Videohound") I was looking for this and thanks to Jonathan at J-Rock's Bad Movie Page, I finally saw it.

Certainly I wasn't expecting much, but a fifteen-minute short? No. Yes, this tape contains the title short plus the 41 minute "The Hook Of Woodland Heights" short by the same people and a "making of..." documentary.

...Fridge is no-budget and amateurish with attempts at humour that are juvenile but at least it's campy and over quick. Filmmakers Veau and Savino even play themselves (big dorks they are) and we can see the shadow of the person pushing the fridge when it moves across the floor to attack someone.

The Hook... is a tad better with more polished production values and an obvious "don't take this seriously" tone. For the most part it's also amateurish but stupidly watchable (like the clipboard ninja starred into one guys head scene and the fact you can see the killer's fingers holding the barbeque fork on his hand).

The whole "making of..." is a waste unless you want to hear some humourous accents by the narrators and the really bad glam-rock band called "The Heartbeats".
