From always busy B-movie director DeCoteau's new Rapid Heart Pictures comes this teenage-themed mummy movie about some students being caught at a distant school/dorm setting and being stalked and killed by a ressurected mummy who's sporting a funky knife.

Not surprisingly, since DeCoteau worked for them many many years, this low-budgeter is Full Moon Entertainment flavoured with a youthful cast, a bit of stale banter between cast members and so-so effects (the mummy is just what it looks like, a bulky actor in a costume).

It's bearable to watch but is a passable B-movie nothing more, nothing less. Sort of tacky, forgettable and kind of silly; this isn't the worst way to waste time but it's nothing special either.

Followed by a sequel.
