Hack journalist Tony Roberts buys the Amityville house for cheap only for more evil spirits to show-up and wreak havoc.

Mediocre sequel, shot in 3-D, caters (if cheaply) mostly to its gimmick forgetting that a decent story and some suspense would have been nice.

Director Fleischer is responsible for many a bloated big-studio bomb including 1985's awful Red Sonja. Look for an early film appearance by the ever quirky Meg Ryan. (Chris Hartley)
