2002 - 88m.
Canada

Unnecessary sequel to the so-so original stars Mila Kunis (of TV's That 70's Show) as a college girl (who when she was twelve killed the original's killer Patrick Bateman) who will do anything, even resort to killing, in order to win the teaching assistant job with serial killer specializing professor (and former detective who couldn't solve Bateman's murder) William Shatner so she can get into the FBI and hunt them.

Bearable if nothing special follow-up is more slasher movie-ish than the original, which is quite evident during the poor "condom" moment where Kunis' character cracks a one-liner.

Kunis isn't that bad in the lead but this suffers from too many plot holes (like why no-one wonders why all her classmates are missing), has a finale that fizzles out and having a comedic score (especially during scenes with Kunis and her psychiatrist) that's overused.

Pretty tame compared to the first one and about as passable. (Chris Hartley)

Directed By: Morgan J. Freeman.
Written By: Karen Craig, Alex Sanger.

Starring: Mila Kunis, Geraint Wyn Davies, William Shatner, Robin Dunne.

DVD INFORMATION

Picture Ratio: 1.85:1 Widescreen.

Picture Quality: A fair share of flecks marr the print but it's mostly acceptable if lacking in charity at times.

Extras: Not bad extras as we get a trailer, an alternate opening (that's better than the one they went with), outtakes, deleted scenes and two commentary tracks (both which have duller than dull director Morgan J. Freeman rambling).
