Ripley (Signourney Weaver) the lone survivor of Alien is taken out of her fifty-year cyro-sleep and sent off to a colonized planet along with some mean space marines when the aliens have taken it over.

Tense and exciting this is a superior sequel loaded with lots of kick-ass action sequences, killer effects and quoteable lines.

Excellent and well written entertainment with dynamic performances (by Weaver, Lance Henriksen and the rest of the cast).

Available in a special edition which has seventeen minutes of new footage.
