Ripley (Signourney Weaver), still in hyper-sleep after the events of Aliens, crash lands on a prison planet inhabited by monk-like prisoners and must team-up with the inmates to take on more acid-dripping Aliens.

Bearable sequel has director Fincher deciding to downplay the weaponry so heavily used in the previous part and it slightly suffers because of it.

Disappointing despite the decent effects mainly because it's dull and overblown.
