A mere five weeks after being brought together to work with each other; Vancouver, British Columbia's Cinema Fabulon emerged with this short film that feels like a scene that's been chopped directly out of your favourite undead flick as a dinner party ends-up going horribly wrong trapping our lead actors Marcia MacDonald and Kel Salerno in a fairly small bathroom as they fall under siege from a group of zombies and have to try and escape with their lives.
This is a well done ten minute shot of mayhem with an opening scene (a simple dripping tap) that uses sound effectively, MacDonald conveying fear pretty convincingly, decent make-up effects, and a script that gives us a basic premise but leaves a lot to the imagination.
In fact, I'd love to see the story get expanded a bit more as it's set in an unlikely location and has a few scenes (like when Salerno's character looks out a window only to realize there's a zombie outside even) that could lead to a story with an even wider scope; but as a first effort it's done professionally and it manages to entertain in its brief running time - and that's not a bad thing at all.

Picture Quality: It looks like this was shot with in digital and everything is looking good with no noticeable problems with the transfer.
Extras: They've certainly given you a lot of value for your buck with this indie DVD as it's one of the better put together packages I've seen for a short film yet with good looking menus to go with a lot of extras that include a trailer, a blooper reel, a still gallery, poster gallery, the original edit of the film (with a few barely noticeable differences), 6 shorts/commercials by director De Groot (I really enjoyed "Timmy's Room" and thought the unfinished look of it added to it); and three commentary tracks one with director De Groot and producer Josh Pasnak, the second with writer Bavota and lead MacDonald, and a joke commentary track by the "zombies" that's basically a lot of growling and groaning.
