1998 - 74m.

Third film in Kevin Lindenmuth's ambitious vampire series brings back most of the cast from ATM:Tainted Blood (who are thrown to the back-burner for most of the film to the point of them having little purpose to the story) for a story that follows vampire turned hunter Mick McCleery, some female vampires and (for the bulk of the story) a Latino vampire called Santana (Frank Lopez, who fares best here) who's in prison and confides in his cellmate - enough to put him in danger.

There's some interesting ideas in the mix here in this follow-up that's like a cross between a vampire relationship movie and prison flick with good intentions but suffering from its small production scale (I've never seen such a bare-bones prison in my life).

The scattershot feeling that plagues this could be attributed to sequences being handled by separate directors (Lindenmuth did all the first parts, Vollmann all the prison parts). And check out that much too open ending.

Those who liked the original will find this an interesting progression to the series, others will probably want to skip it.

Check out that decent trick involving a stake and Lopez's bunk - it's pretty cool.
